Dr Jaya Prakash V earned his medical degree from Madras Medical College in Chennai in 2006, and his post-graduate degree (MD Ophthalmology) from the prestigious Dr. RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi in 2009.
In addition, he completed his DNB Ophthalmology in 2010 and his FICO Ophthalmology (Advanced) in 2012. In 2010, he completed his FAICO in Uvea, Comprehensive Ophthalmology in 2011, and Vitreoretina in 2013. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Senior Resident in Vitreoretina and Pediatric Ophthalmology at Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
From 2011 to 2014, he was a Research and Clinical Fellow in Vitreoretina at Vision Research Foundation and Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya. Following that, he worked as an Associate Consultant in the Vitreoretina department at Sankara Nethralaya. He is currently employed as a Consultant in the Vitreoretina department at Sankara Nethralaya.
Dr Jaya Prakash V has papers published in national and international journals, and he has given invited talks at national and international conferences.
