Dr Alka Kriplani has been awarded the Padma Shri for 2015. She is a qualified Obstetrician and Gynecologist affiliated with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi. The President of India awarded her the Dr. B. C. Roy National Award for 2007 in recognition of her contributions as an Eminent Medical Teacher.
