Dr Amit Rastogi has extensive experience in Surgical Gastroenterology (GI Surgery) and Liver Transplantation, having worked with a number of prestigious institutes in the country, including SGPGI, GB Pant Hospital, AIIMS, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Apollo Hospital. He completed a two-year Fellowship in Liver Transplant Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, where he worked with and was a part of the country’s first and largest liver transplant program.
He was trained in robotic liver surgery at IRCAD-Strasbourg, France, and advanced robotic HPB surgery at Grosseto, Italy. He has a number of publications in international and national journals and has given numerous invited lectures and papers in his area. He is particularly interested in living donor liver transplantation and robotic and minimally invasive hepatobiliary surgery.
