Dr. Prakash earned his MBBS and MS (Surgery) degrees from the Institute of Medical Sciences at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India. Following that, in 2005, he received his D.N.B. (Surgery) and F.N.B. (Minimal Access Surgery) from the National Board of Examinations, NAMS, New Delhi.
Dr Anand Prakash received Fellowships from the American College of Surgeons in 2006 and the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012.
