Dr Pankaj Wadhwa worked as a Senior Research Associate at AIIMS, New Delhi from 2004 to 2006 after completing his postgraduate studies in Urology at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He was trained in Endo-Urology, Uro-Oncology, Reconstructive Urology, and Robotic Urology. While working at AIIMS, New Delhi, he completed his Fellowship in Endo-Urology (Endourology Society, USA). He worked at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, Kent, as a Visiting Honorary Consultant.
From 2009 to 2016, he worked as the Chief Urologist at RG Stone Urology and Laparoscopy Hospitals in Karol Bagh, Rajouri Garden, and East of Kailash, New Delhi, honing his skills in Endourology for Urolithiasis, Laser Prostatectomy (HoLEP), and Laparoscopy.
Dr. Wadhwa was the Director and Head of the Department of Urology and Renal Transplant at Primus Super Specialty Hospital in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, prior to joining Medanta. Since 2016, he has been a mentor for HoLEP training in India. He has 36 international and national publications to his credit, as well as two book chapters.
