- Dr Leong Hoo Kwong earned an undergraduate scholarship from the National University of Singapore. He was chosen for the Ministry of Health’s Overseas Advanced Subspecialty Training Scholarship in otology (middle ear surgery), neuro-otology (inner ear surgery), and microscopic skull base surgery.
- Prior to entering private practice, Dr Leong was a Senior Lecturer and Consultant in the National University Hospital’s University Department of Otolaryngology. He has authored a number of scholarly articles that have been published in both national and international medical journals. He has also delivered several talks, seminars, and research results at national and international conferences. He also contributed a chapter to a textbook titled Operative Otorhinolaryngology on ear surgery. Dr Leong is also an active member of the Singapore Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Society, serving on its executive committee for many years. He was the founding Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Otorhinolaryngology Chapter of the Singapore College of Surgeons. He has been an active member of the Prospere Meniere’s Society, an international organization dedicated to the study and advancement of ear disease care, for many years.
- Dr Leong Hoo Kwong’s interests include ear and cochlear implants, endoscopic sinus surgery, paediatric ENT, and head and neck tumor surgery. His other areas of concern include snoring remedies and ENT allergies.
