Between 1995 and 1996, he received postgraduate clinical training in Interventional Endoscopy and Endoscopic Laser Therapy at the National Medical Laser Centre/Middlesex Hospital in London, United Kingdom. Dr. Lim is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh and the Singapore Academy of Medicine.
