Biodata
- Dr Foo Fong Yee is currently a Senior Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s National Healthcare Group Eye Institute.
- She graduated from the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) medical school in 2002 and earned a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) in 2006. She earned a Fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010 and is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore.
- Dr Foo was awarded a Singapore Ministry of Health Training Scholarship and then completed a 12-month clinical and surgical fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, USA, where she received training in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus under the supervision of Professors Dai and Dai.
- General ophthalmology, cataracts, paediatric ophthalmology, myopia, and strabismus are among her areas of practice (adults and children).
