- Dr E Shawn Goh worked as an ophthalmic plastic surgeon at Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s Department of Ophthalmology and the National Healthcare Group Eye Institute. Along with ophthalmic surgery, he specializes in orbital, lacrimal, and peri-ocular illnesses.
- Dr E Shawn Goh graduated with a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) in 2004 and has been a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (London), the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), and the Singapore College of Ophthalmologists since 2008.
- Dr Goh was a 2006 recipient of a Ministry of Health Scholarship and completed a postgraduate fellowship in Oculoplastics and Orbital Tumors at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Orbital malignancies, lacrimal system diseases, and ophthalmic facial reconstruction are his areas of expertise. He has published articles in peer-reviewed international journals on a variety of subjects, including general ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery, as well as patient safety. He serves as a peer reviewer for publications both domestic and foreign.
- Along with general ophthalmic disorders and oculo-facial surgery, Dr Goh meets patients with concerns about face and peri-ocular ageing changes and counsels them on alternative therapy alternatives such as neuromodulators, skin resurfacing, and temporary / semi-permanent soft-tissue augmentation.
