- Extensive experience performing minimally invasive colorectal and general surgical operations, as well as treating colorectal malignancies and diseases, as well as difficult perianal and intestinal issues.
- • Under the mentorship of Professor Phillip Fleshner and his group of nine senior colorectal surgeons, she completed a year of advanced colon and rectal surgery training at the world-renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the United States of America through the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Health and Manpower Programme (HMDP).
- • A member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons on a worldwide level.
- • Between 2015 and 2017, Dr Cheryl Lau Chien Li received hospital research funds for clinical quality research and wrote a number of research articles and book chapters.
