Biodata
- Dr Ho Choon Kiat is a board-certified general surgeon with a focus on hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He graduated from the National University of Singapore’s medical faculty in 1994. In 2003, he passed the exams for the Joint Specialty Fellowship in General Surgery. Subsequently, he was awarded two scholarships to aid in the development of his specialism. The first, at the University of Heidelberg’s Surgical Clinic in Germany, was an HMDP fellowship in surgical oncology with a focus on pancreatic surgery and pancreatic malignancies. The second was a Tan Tock Seng Hospital scholarship to Australia’s Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for a clinical residency in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
- Dr Ho previously worked as a consultant surgeon at TTSH’s Department of General Surgery. Additionally, he served as Director of the Endoscopy Center and Deputy Director of the Centre for Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery.
