- Dr Jimmy Gordon Lim Tien Wei works as a consultant cardiologist at Singapore’s Novena Heart Centre. He completed his undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom and then relocated to Singapore for additional specialty study.
- Later in his career, he completed additional training in interventional cardiology, preventative cardiology, and cardiac rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA. He was also the previous director of Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s invasive cardiac laboratory from 2004 to 2007.
- He was the top volume operator in Singapore for primary angioplasty throughout his tenure there (the use of balloon and stents for treating patients with acute heart attacks).
- Additionally, he is a visiting consultant at the National University Hospital, performing coronary angiography and angioplasty.
