Biodata
- Dr Chen Lin Han earned his medical degree in 1989 from the National University of Singapore School of Medicine. He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kandang Kerbau Hospital in 1995, was admitted to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (London) and the Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (Australia) in 1996, and was awarded a Master of Medicine (O & G) by NUS in 1996.
- Dr Chen completed post-accreditation training in high-risk obstetrics, which included antenatal invasive diagnostic techniques and care of medical problems throughout pregnancy. He has written numerous articles on maternal morbidity and mortality in Singapore.
- Dr Chen also has a particular interest in menopause care and was one of the founding physicians of the Menopause Unit at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. While in private practice, he served as an advisor to the Menopause Support Group and as a Visiting Specialist to the Menopause Unit.
- Dr Chen continues to be an advocate for patient education through public forums and media publications. He is a highly sought-after lecturer on topics related to pregnancy care and menopause.
