Dr Mohammad Nashir Uddin earned his MBBS in 1994 from Dhaka’s Sir Salimullah Medical College (Reg. No. A23801). After completing his internship, he entered the government service via BCS in 1997. After clearing the first phase of the FCPS (Surgery) examination in 1998, he began his surgical training as an Assistant Registrar at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in 1999. After completing his studies, he was awarded the FCPS (Surgery) in 2003 (Fellow No. 1495) and joined Dhaka Medical College Hospital as Registrar of Surgery. In August 2004, he began working as a Resident Surgeon (Casualty) at Mitford Hospital in Dhaka, where he remained till 2007. He was then appointed to Junior Consultant of Surgery and relocated to Shaheed Surawardy Medical College Hospital the next year. He spent three years there as an independent consulting surgeon. In January 2010, he enrolled in a master’s program in plastic surgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He earned his MS in Plastic Surgery in 2012 and joined Faridpur Medical College the following year as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery. He was moved to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s Burn & Plastic Surgery Unit in 2013 and is currently working there. He had specialized training in Australia, Singapore, Turkey, Thailand, and India in Burn, Hand, Breast, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive Surgery for Accidents and Cancer.
