Dr Seah Wee Teck Victor is an orthopedic surgeon with a particular interest in arthroscopy
He specializes in trauma and geriatric osteoporosis, as well as foot and ankle injury.
Dr. Thompson treats bone fractures, osteoporotic bone fractures, intra-articular bone fractures, and pelvis and hip fractures.
He has a special expertise in ankle and foot ligament ruptures, tendon strains, fractures of the ankle and foot, foot deformities, and sports injuries of the foot and ankle.
Dr Seah Wee Teck Victor successfully completed the orthopaedic trauma fellowship, and a foot and ankle fellowship at Charite, and at Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden, Germany. He has done clinical education research at Harvard University’s Macy Institute.
Upon his return to Singapore, Dr Seah was brought into the trauma team at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, and he eventually took over as the trauma team chief.
The aim of the appointment is to ensure that the Osteoporotic Hip Fracture Clinical Practice Recommendations and the Integrated Treatment Pathway Programme are successful in treating osteoporosis. He also led a multidisciplinary team in establishing a geriatric hip fracture rehabilitation program for Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH).
He was a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin Medical School, and held concurrent positions as clinical core faculty members of Alexandra Health and National Healthcare. He was responsible for creating the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine’s curriculum.
Dr Seah Wee Teck Victor is an active global and regional faculty member of AOTrauma, the leading academic trauma organization in the United States.
