He is a member of the Indian Orthopedic Association, the Tamil Nadu Orthopedic Association, and the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow)
He graduated with an MBBS degree from Madurai Medical College in 1996. Then, in 2001, he earned a master’s degree from Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai and an MRCS from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom, followed by a fellowship in knee and hip surgery from the London Knee Clinic in 2011. - Dr. Kamalasekaran is a board-certified orthopedist who specializes in total hip replacement, minimally invasive knee replacement, key-hole surgery, disc surgery, complex pelvis and hip reconstruction, shoulder/elbow replacement, ACL repair, and trauma surgery.
