Professional Statement

Dr Mohammad Masud Karim was born in the Dhalai Union of Chittagong District’s Hathazari Upazilla. After completing his basic education, he was enrolled to Katir Hat High School, where he was the school’s first male and graduated in 1986 with an SSC. He was then enrolled to Hajji Mohammad Mohsin Government College in Chittagong, where he graduated with honors in 1988. He was accepted as a student at Rangpur Medical College. He was placed sixth (6th) in the first professional examination, first (1st) in the second professional examination, and first (1st) in the third/final professional examination administered by Rajshahi University. He was academically recognized by the same institution as a ‘Gold Medalist.’

He is now employed in Chittagong Medical College & Hospital as a General, Laparoscopic, Hepatobiliary, and Colorectal Surgeon. He treats his patients on a daily basis at the Chevron Clinical Laboratory in Chittagong.
