Dr Srinivasan U P is a Madurai native who earned his medical degree from Madurai Medical College. His interest in surgery prompted him to pursue a master’s degree at Coimbatore Medical College. During this time, Dr Srinivasan U P increased his exposure to laparoscopy and skill (key-hole surgery) under the tutelage of Japanese Prof. Harushi-osugi. Additionally, an aptitude for treating gastro intestinal illnesses evolved. He determined that a superspecialization in surgical gastroenterology would be his expertise and concentrated his efforts there.
