Work Experience
- Completed MD (Pediatrics) from Bai Jerbai Wadia hospital and KEM hospital in 1995 and then went to UK. Was in UK for 10 years. Completed MRCP.
- After gaining experience in Pediatric Nephrology in centres like University Wales Hospital, Cardiff, Birmingham Childrens hospital, Birmingham and Guy’s hospital, London was appointed Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist at Southampton General Hospital, Southampton. Was a consultant for 5 years.
- Returned to India and have been practising Pediatric Nephrology from 2005-2006.

- Dr Pankaj Venkatrao Deshpande has approximately 24 years of experience as a pediatric nephrologist.
Dr Pankaj Venkatrao Deshpande was the official doctor (pediatric) for the 1999 Transplant Games in Birmingham, the organizer of DCH examinations in Bombay in 1994, the official doctor for the blood donation drive organized by the KEM cardiology unit in 1993, and the HosteL Secretary for two years at the Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital in Bombay.
After completing his MBBS, he received his MD (Pediatrics) from Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital and KEM hospital in 1995, and subsequently he completed his MRCP course in the United Kingdom. - He also holds a DCH (1994) and FCPS (Child Health) from India (1995).
