- Dr.Anjana Hulse is one of the very few pediatric endocrinologists in Bangalore. * She obtained her training in pediatric endocrinology from Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow which is a tertiary centre for pediatric endocrinology. * She has also visited Sick Kids’ Hospital, Toronto, Canada for two months where she had further exposure in metabolic bone disorders and type 1diabetes in children. * She has attended pediatric endocrine training (PET) conducted by ISPAE.
Awards And Achievements
- Assessment of growth velocity in premature infants and correlation with nutritional intake and medical factors. Presented at European Academy of Pediatrics Annual Meeting, 2008, Paris. # Thesis: The relationship between capillary 17-hydroxyprogesterone profiles, growth velocity and glucocorticoid therapy in congenital adrenal hyperplasia – accepted for the degree of MSc, University of Glasgow.
Biodata
- Dr Anjana Hulse is a Rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences, Bangalore graduate. Dr Anjana Hulse completed her pediatrics training at some of the top hospitals in the United Kingdom, including the general infirmary in Leeds and the royal hospital for unwell children in Glasgow. Following six years of pediatric training, she earned an MSc (clinical) in pediatric endocrinology with distinction from the University of Glasgow and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (RHSC). The Rhsc is a tertiary pediatric endocrinology facility. Dr Anjana Hulse has also spent two months at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Canada, where she was exposed to metabolic bone diseases and type 1 diabetes in youngsters. Since October 2011, she has been working at Apollo hospitals in Bangalore.
