Biodata

• Dr Arun L Naik was educated at the renowned All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, where he worked for seven years before relocating to his hometown of Bangalore.
• Dr Arun L Naik has been in practice in the city for the past 17 years. Before joining Apollo Hospitals in 2013, he founded and established Neurosurgery departments at a number of the city’s most renowned institutions. In 2001, he introduced Neuronavigation treatments for brain and spine illnesses for the first time in India at Bangalore. His areas of expertise include endoscopy of the brain and spine, difficult spine surgery, stereotactic surgery, and pediatric neurosurgery. He has performed extremely challenging neurovascular procedures such as brain aneurysm clipping and Arteriovenous Malformations (AVMs). In the city, Dr Arun L Naik initiated spinal navigation-guided fusion operations for complex spinal cases. He has extensive experience operating on previously unsuccessful spinal conditions. Dr. Naik performs Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) operations for a variety of movement problems on a regular basis.
• Throughout his career, he has performed over 10,000 brain, spine, and nerve procedures. Dr Arun L Naik is a DNB instructor and has instructed numerous DNB pupils. He participates in numerous local, national, and international neurosurgical societies and often attends professional conferences to keep abreast of the ever-evolving field of neurosciences. He has successfully organized numerous neurosurgical conferences and gatherings for the benefit of surgeons and practitioners in his peer group.Dr Arun L Naik has written numerous articles and papers in national and international publications.
