- Dr Gautam Kodikal has over 35 years of expertise as an orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon.
Dr Gautam Kodikal is a member for life of the Indian Orthopedic Association, the Karnataka Orthopedic Association, the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of India, and the Pune Orthopedic Society.
He has also served on the Executive Council of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of India (2002-2004), the Organizing Committee of Posicon (1999), and the Organizing Committee of Koacon (1999). (2003-2005). - Nearly 15,000 joint replacements and over 10,000 ACL repairs have been performed by him.
- Dr Gautam Kodikal has written more than one hundred articles and book chapters on the treatment of sports injuries, osteoporosis, and joint fractures in youngsters.
- The subject of his master’s thesis is “Early Operative Management of Congenital Talipes Equino Varus.”
