Dr Ravi Seshadri Srinivasan is an ear, nose, throat (ENT) surgeon with more than 20 years of experience, and frequently attends meetings with the other members of the medical association. This doctor specializes in caring for patients with allergic nasal symptoms, sleep apnea and speech issues. He sees children who have all kinds of ear, nose and throat issues.
After completing his MBBS from the National University of Singapore, Dr Seshadri joined the ENT program at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and completed his advanced training to become a specialist in ENT at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He left the states to pursue the Health Manpower Development Planning (HMDP) Award in the UK. There, he underwent a post-graduate medical residency in ear, nose, and throat medicine at Charing Cross Hospital in London. In 1995, he received further training at the Pacific Voice and Speech Foundation , USA under TTSH Scholarship Award. The course in which he studied was in Laryngology and Phonosurgery. In 1997, he was given the academic distinction of Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Medicine.
Before he entered private practice, Dr Seshadri was a Consultant at the Department of Otolaryngology at Texas Treatment and Research Hospital. He continues to provide care to the hospital as a voice physician and teaches junior doctors in his clinic.
Dr Ravi Seshadri Srinivasan is a preeminent expert in this field . He is a pioneer in the use of Botox for people with spasmodic voice problems. He is also a member of the Singapore Ophthalmic Retina Society, and has served as President of the Society in 2001. He is also a member of an international association headquartered in Philadelphia.
Dr Ravi Seshadri Srinivasan is an expert at research in journals such as Asian Journal of Allergy and Immunology. He has also participated at several research conferences. He is married and has children.
