- In Bangalore, Dr Satyajit Godhi is a renowned gastroenterologist and hepatobiliary-pancreatic surgeon. Dr Satyajit Godhi is a graduate of the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi, India, where he earned his M.Ch in Surgical Gastroenterology. He topped the university examination in Delhi. Dr Satyajit Godhi has considerable experience with minimally invasive treatments ranging from basic laparoscopic cholecystectomies, hernia surgeries, and appendectomies to advanced laparoscopic bariatric surgeries, laparoscopic colorectal surgeries, and minimally invasive esophagectomies. His areas of expertise include cancer procedures for the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder, with comparable international outcomes. He is also one of the few surgeons who successfully do procedures for chronic pancreatitis. Numerous scholarly articles have been presented by him at international and national conferences. In the Textbook of Surgical Gastroenterology, he authored a chapter titled “Gallbladder and Bile Duct.” Numerous scientific articles authored by Dr. Satyajit Godhi have been published in national and international journals. He is a prominent member of India’s family of surgical gastroenterologists.
