He received his MBBS from Devaraj URS Medical College in Kolar, his MS in Orthopaedics from M S Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, and his DNB in Orthopaedics/Orthopaedic Surgery from the DNB board in New Delhi. Additionally, Dr Srimanth B S has a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Oncology from Seoul National University, South Korea, and a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Oncology from Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, Italy. His primary area of focus is the treatment of pediatric and pelvic bone and soft tissue tumors. Dr Srimanth B S belongs to the Karnataka Orthopaedic Association, the Indian Musculoskeletal Oncology Society, the Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association, and the International Society of Limb Salvage (ISOLS).
