Dr Lim Teck Hock Dennis is a general surgeon with specialization in head and neck surgery and surgical oncology as a subspecialty. He graduated in 1987 from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and obtained surgical fellowships in 1992 from the Royal College of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Glasgow. He received his Master of Medicine in Surgery in the same year (NUS). He trained under two esteemed professors of surgery, Professor Abu Rauff and Professor Rajmohan Nambiar, during this time. From them, Dr. Lim gained the modesty and compassion of the surgery that has stuck with him ever since.
Dr Lim Teck Hock Dennis was directed by Professor K. C. Soo towards Head & Neck Surgery for the next five years, and in 1997, he had the opportunity to spend two years in a Residency program at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre, an international medical center of excellence in New York. Dr. Lim had the ability during his tenure there to hone his abilities under Drs. Jatin Shah, Elliot Strong, Ronald Spiro and Ashok Shaha, all of whom are renowned head and neck surgery specialists.
Dr Lim Teck Hock Dennis was formerly a Consultant Surgical Oncologist and General Surgeon at the National Cancer Centre and Singapore General Hospital prior to establishing his private practice at Mt Elizabeth Hospital.
