Dr Lim Wei Min Jason is a general surgeon practicing at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.
Dr Lim Wei Min Jason specializes in general surgery and colorectal surgery, and the treatment of complex anal disorders such as perianal fistula and functional bowel issues such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), intractable constipation and bowel incontinence are his clinical interests.
Dr Lim Wei Min Jason was a consultant surgeon in the colorectal surgery department at the Singapore General Hospital prior to leaving for private practice (SGH).
In Denmark, Dr Lim gained a fellowship position in advanced proctology, enabling him to be part of the team developing new strategies in the treatment of complex perianal and anovaginal fistulas, including stem cell therapy and techniques of fat transfer.
Dr Lim Wei Min Jason has also written the first research paper in Singapore on the prevalence of faecal incontinence.
The continued involvement of Dr. Lim in enhancing patient outcomes and expertise led him to hold concurrent management roles at the Same Day Admission Centre at SGH, including medical board member and clinical lead.
Dr Lim Wei Min Jason was also the co-chair of the SingHealth Surgery Medical Clinical Program’s clinical quality management committee, and co-chair of the SingHealth Surgical Residency Program’s clinical learning environment review committee.
