Education & Experience:
Dr Sng Kevin Kaity is currently studying colorectal surgery, endoscopy, laparoscopic and general surgery at Gleneagles Hospital in Singapore.
Dr Sng Kevin Kaity continued his post-graduate surgery school, gaining work experience in several public institutions, including Changi General Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Under the Ministry of Health’s Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship, Dr Sng educated in Korea under the distinguished mentorship of a world-renowned robotic and laparoscopic colorectal surgeon, Professor Kim Seon Hahn. At Korea University Anam Hospital in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Sng received his Certificate of Completion for the International Fellowship for Robotic & Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery in 2012. Dr Sng is a registered member of both the Asia-Pacific Hernia Society and the Singapore Society of Colorectal Surgeons.
Dr Sng Kevin Kaity was formerly a consultant and director of the Changi General Hospital Colorectal Service (CGH). He has served as co-director of the Center for Specialized Clinical and Surgical Skills, as well as a member of the CGH Credentialing Committee for Laparoscopic Procedures. In 2012, Dr. Sng was named Clinical Senior Lecturer by the National University of Singapore Medical School and acted as an examiner for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Degrees.
Final Professional Examination. Since 2011, he has also been associated with the Singhealth Internship Program and worked as a Faculty Member for the General Surgery, Family Medicine and Residency Programs for the Transitional Year. Dr Sng Kevin Kaity has published a variety of papers in peer-reviewed local and international journals, as well as being a reviewer for a number of international journals, including the Singapore Medical Journal, the Journal of Pediatric Surgery and the World Journal of Surgical Oncology.
Colorectal cancer, colorectal polyps, haemorrhoids, piles, stones of the gallbladder, cholecystitis, appendicitis, hernia, perianal abscesses, perianal fistulas, anal fissures, lipomas, epidermal cysts, sebaceous cysts and skin abscesses are diseases he treats. He also carries out colorectal tests and performs stoma surgery.
