Education & Experience:
Dr Chew Christopher is a graduate of Cambridge University, England, with an MBBChir. When he was an undergraduate at Cambridge, he received First Class Honours in Medical Sciences Tripos. He is a Fellow of the London and Edinburgh Royal Colleges of Physicians, as well as a Fellow of the American Colleges of Cardiology and Medicine.
In both Cardiology and Internal Medicine, he is American board certified (Diplomate).
For the last 35 years, Dr Chew Christopher has been studying cardiology. He studied in cardiology at London Hammersmith Hospital, Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre/UCLA and served as a clinical and interventional cardiologist for 15 years in Los Angeles before returning to Singapore in 1992 as an Associate Professor of Medicine/Cardiology at the National University Hospital (NUH). Before his foray into private practice in 1996, he was Acting Head of the Department of Cardiology at NUH.
