Dr Lim Tien Wei Jimmy Gordon did his postgraduate training in interventional cardiology, preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA, where he did further training.
Dr Lim Tien Wei Jimmy Gordon returned to Singapore after his training and, from 2004 to 2007, became the former director of the invasive cardiac laboratory at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He was the highest volume operator in Singapore for primary angioplasty during his time there (the use of balloon and stents for treating patients with acute heart attacks).
Dr Lim Tien Wei Jimmy Gordon is also a visiting advisor to the National University Hospital, where coronary angiography and angioplasty are conducted.
He has published several articles on hypertension and the relevance of exercise in coronary disease prevention.
