Education & Experience:
Since 2004, Dr Loh Keh Chuan has been a consulting endocrinologist at the Medical Centre of Mount Elizabeth. He was previously a senior advisor at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and a visiting advisor at the National Cancer Centre and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital at the Thyroid Clinic. In peer-reviewed medical journals, he has written over 60 clinical and academic papers and wrote several book chapters on various endocrine topics. His particular interest, in addition to diabetes and general endocrinology, is the treatment of thyroid disorders, including ultrasound-guided biopsy and thyroid node sclerotherapy, radioactive iodine therapy and thyroid cancer management.
Dr Loh Keh Chuan has worked on numerous advisory committees, including the Diabetes Mellitus Clinical Practice Guidelines of the Ministry of Health, the Asia Pacific Clinical Practice Guideline for Thyroid Cancer Treatment, the Health Sciences Authority’s Drug Assessment Panel, and the Singapore Civil Aviation Medical Board.
