- Dr Cheng Jun is a gastroenterologist practising in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
- Dr Cheng Jun specialises in conducting endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) (ERCP).
- Prior to his private practice, Dr Cheng was formerly a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist as well as a visiting consultant for the Singapore General Hospital. He was also a member of the medical advisory board of Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
- He was the president of the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore and the vice-president of the World Organization of Gastroenterology. He was also a board member of the National Foundation of Digestive Diseases and the chairman of the Chapter of Physicians, Academy of Medicine of Singapore.
- Dr Cheng Jun has been an author in book chapters in the texts Management of Malignant Biliary Strictures and Management of Common Gastroenterological Problems, a Malaysia and Singapore Perspective.
