- Dr Amit Kapoor is a young neurosurgeon with nearly ten years of experience in India.
He is a member of a number of prestigious organizations, including the Neurological Society of India, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Indian Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, and the Delhi Neurological Association.
Dr Amit Kapoor was the first BMJ Award winner in the category of “Surgical Team of the Year” (2014) for the “Robotic Spine Surgery Team” of Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, and he also got the Best Poster Award at the Indian International Conference on Emergency Medicine in Andhra Pradesh, India (2002). - His specialties include microsurgery and stereotactic surgery for brain and spine tumors, pediatric neurosurgery, cerebro-vascular surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS), including microdiscectomy for cervical and lumbar disc disease and artificial disc replacement, as well as cervical and lumbar canal stenosis.
