In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Grimes was instrumental in establishing the UCLA lung nodule clinic. Additionally, he undertakes lung cancer research, which has resulted in a number of articles exploring the formation of lung cancer. He regularly participates in the clinical instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows.
