Dr Chee Wen Ling Elaine is a qualified medical doctor practising ophthalmology at the Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.
Dr Chee Wen Ling Elaine is a specialist in cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, tear drainage surgery, orbital surgery, the control of diabetes in the eye, glaucoma care in infants, and aesthetic procedures around the eyes.
Dr Chee Wen Ling Elaine is presently a consultant at each of the National Eye Centres in Singapore.
She has previously held various positions at the Singapore National Eye Centre and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
Dr Chee Wen Ling Elaine was part of the ophthalmology department at the Singapore National Eye Centre and was the former JCI chairperson in charge of maintaining patient safety and uniform procedures at the hospital.
Upon completion of her first oculoplastic fellowship, she further honed her skills by completing additional advanced oculoplastic training under Professor Kim Yoon Duck at the Singapore National Eye Centre, Samsung Medical Hospital, and Dr. Jang Jae Woo, Kim’s Eye Hospital.
She had a lot of experience in science, and published a variety of peer-reviewed journals. She has also been invited to participate in globally recognised conferences in ophthalmology and aesthetics to give lectures and teach in related training courses in oculoplastic surgery.
