- Dr Chu Hui Ping is a physician who specializes in pediatrics. Dr Chu graduated from NUS with an MBBS in 2001 and an MRCPCH (UK) in 2005. She completed her paediatric residency at KKH and was certified as a specialist in 2009. In 2010, she received the Ministry of Health’s HMDP award and completed speciality training in child gastroenterology and nutrition at Great Ormond Street Hospital and paediatric hepatology at Kings’ College Hospital in London. In 2011, she also earned a Diploma in Dermatology from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
- Dr Chu previously worked at KKH as a Consultant in Paediatric Medicine and a Specialist in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. She is responsible for the management of general ambulatory paediatric problems, such as childhood vaccines, developmental evaluation, and common paediatric infections. Dr Chu’s primary areas of interest are recurrent stomach discomfort, constipation, gastroesophageal reflux disease, food allergies, inflammatory bowel disease, and feeding difficulties. Additionally, she has expertise doing oesophago-gastro-duodenoscopy (OGD), colonoscopy, and 24-hour pH and impedance tests on children.
