- Dr Chua Tju Siang is one of Singapore’s most distinguished gastroenterologists, leading the AliveoMedical practice with an impressive resume and international experience.
- He has garnered numerous honours and prizes throughout the years as a consummate thought leader and published academic. Among them, he received the Warren and Marshall Helicobacter Pylori Award from Australian Nobel laureates Professors Robin Warren and Barry Marshall for his study on the relationship between diverse Helicobacter pylori strains and ulcer illness.
- Dr Chua is a nationally recognized expert in endoscopy and his subspecialty interests of interventional endoscopy and endosonography. He is also passionate about developing standards for high-quality endoscopy and serves on the Quality Assurance Subcommittee of Singapore’s National Colorectal Cancer Screening Program. Dr Chua is frequently invited to talk at and display advanced endoscopic techniques at local and international conferences.
- Dr Chua is now the President of the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore and the Honorary Secretary of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore’s Chapter of Gastroenterologists.
