Biodata
- Dr Darren Ng received his MBBS degree with Distinction in Clinical Sciences from St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London in 2002. After completing his basic surgical training and earning the MRCS (England) in 2005, he pursued advanced surgical training in Plastic Surgery as a Senior Clinical Fellow at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, before enrolling in the London Pan Thames Plastic Surgery Training Programme. He completed his training at Chelmsford’s St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, St George’s Hospital, and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London, United Kingdom. These units offered him with significant training in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hand Surgery. During this time, he earned the FRCS in Plastic Surgery in 2012, earned an MSc with Distinction in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery from the University of London in 2013, and honed his skills with fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery at the Wellington Hospital in London and the McIndoe Surgical Centre in East Grinstead, UK.
- Dr Darren Ng has authored peer-reviewed journal publications on a variety of surgical specialties, including microsurgery, skin cancer, burns, breast surgery, and hand surgery. He has also attended and presented at various international conferences and was an invited chairperson at the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery’s International Congress (IPRAS). His clinical interests include general plastic surgery, microsurgical reconstruction of cancer and trauma, facial, breast, and body contouring surgery, as well as hand surgery.
