Dr Deborah Tan currently serves as a consultant in the General Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology, as well as the Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Departments at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC). Additionally, she holds the position of Visiting Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr Deborah Tan earned her medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is recognized as an accredited Ophthalmology Specialist by the Singapore Medical Council. She is an active member of the Singapore Society of Ophthalmology. Following her specialized training at SNEC, she pursued and obtained her Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) from NUS. Subsequently, Dr. Tan underwent further sub-specialty training in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus.

As a dedicated educator, Dr Deborah Tan has been appointed as a Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, and holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore.
