Dr Dinesh Nair has spent more than 20 years in medical practice and more than 15 years in the specialty field of cardiology.
Dr Dinesh Nair studied at the Helios Heart Centre in Siegburg, Germany, in advanced interventional cardiology, which is known for its cardiac device trials and procedures, including percutaneous valve implantation, experimental arterial stents and coronary imaging techniques.
Before moving to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) in 2006, where he was the director of the coronary care unit, he completed his advanced specialization training in cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore and worked as a cardiologist there.
He is a visiting consultant to the International Medical Centre of Johns Hopkins Singapore and to the Department of Cardiology at TTSH.
He is a member of the board of the Singapore Cardiac Society and of the Academy of Medicine Chapter of Cardiologists in Singapore.
He teaches and gives lectures and has presented research papers in the field of cardiology at various international conferences.
Dr Dinesh Nair has written a variety of scientific articles and has a deep interest in science and teaching.
