Dr Hamza is a dedicated and highly trained clinical Hematologist, Hemato-oncologist, and Bone marrow transplant specialist who has managed hundreds of patients of benign and malignant blood diseases and over 600 bone marrow transplants for a variety of ailments. Dr. Hamza received his MD in general medicine from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College and Sassoon Hospital in Pune, and he obtained a post-graduate certificate in Geriatric Medicine from IGNOU University in New Delhi, due to his significant interest in the care of old patients. He finished his training in Clinical Hematology (DNB) after aiding and supervising over 600 bone marrow transplants over the course of four years. Dr Hamza finished his Internship at Sion Hospital, UHC (Dharavi), and PHC (Vaitarna) in 2013 and then worked in Pune as a Junior Resident in the Department of Medicine from 2013 to 2016. 2016-2017: Specialist Medical Officer, Department of Medicine and Infectious Disease, Kasturba Hospital, Mumbai. 2017-2020: Junior Resident, Department of Hematology, Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center, Narayana Health, Bangalore. 2020 – Senior Resident, Department of Hematology, Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center, Narayana Health, Bangalore. Expertise in the treatment of benign and malignant hematological problems, as well as hematological and oncological crises. Comprehensive care for children and adult patients with hematology/oncology. Patients and donors undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant and bone marrow aspiration and biopsy are managed peri-transplant.
