DR HARSHAD PAREKH has more than 32 years of expertise. Dr. Harshad Parekh joined the J.J. Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College as a Senior House Officer in Neurosurgery after completing his MS, where the Neurosurgical Department is actively involved in teaching and training aspiring neurosurgeons. During his training, he assisted in a high number of emergency craniotomies, posterior fossa, and microsurgery for Glimos, meningiomas for other benign illnesses, shunts for hydrocephalus, and laminectomies for degenerative conditions tumors. He passed his M.Ch. Neurosurgery exams during this time.
He was afterwards sponsored to the Royal Preston Hospital in Preston, United Kingdom, for more training and competence in the fields of microvascular, stereotactic, anterior cervical micro-neurosurgery, skull base, and pediatric neurosurgery. He returned to India and joined the J.J. Group of Hospitals as a Lecturer and Consultant Neurosurgeon after gaining additional knowledge in the aforementioned disciplines at UK & Universal Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland. He is now participating in research projects as well as teaching DNB students. Dr. Harshad Parekh has also written papers and worked on research projects in his field of expertise.
