- Dr Hitendra K Doshi is an orthopaedic surgeon in Mount Alvernia (05-51, BLOCK D) in Singapore, as well as a Visiting Consultant at Raffles Hospital. He is also a visiting surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals (Orchard and Novena), Gleneagles, Parkway East, and Farrer Park.
- Apart from general orthopaedics, he has a special interest in the treatment and management of patients with difficult fractures and those requiring joint replacement, with an emphasis on the elderly. Additionally, he has a specialty in sports-related trauma injuries.
- Dr Hitendra K Doshi graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2005 and finished his orthopaedic training in 2009. He is a Fellow of both the Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons and the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
- The International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology awarded Dr HK Doshi a fellowship in trauma and arthroplasty in Germany (SICOT). He was also awarded a fellowship in complex trauma by the AO Trauma Education in Fribourg, Switzerland.
- Dr HK Doshi did a clinical fellowship in Adult Trauma and Joint Replacement Surgery at Unfall Chirugie, Innsbruck University Hospital, Austria, under the direction of Professor Michael Blauth, as well as a fellowship in Geriatric Fracture Management (Orthogeriatrics).
- Dr HK Doshi has been asked to teach and chair numerous international conferences, including those in the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and Indonesia. He is also a faculty member of the AO Education and the International Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology’s National Representative (SICOT).
