- Dr Hitesh Kubadia is a highly skilled orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon. He has considerable training and many fellowships. He brings from Austria a wealth of experience in the art of achieving accurate alignments without computer navigation and from Australia, the fourth generation of computer-assisted surgeries.
- This experience enables him to offer Total Knee Replacement procedures with minimally invasive muscle-conserving techniques (without breaching the quadriceps mechanism) without sacrificing alignment and balance.
- Dr Hitesh Kubadia is a practicing orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon in Mumbai whose specialty is minimally invasive total knee replacements.
- In 2002, Dr Hitesh Kubadia completed his master’s degree in orthopaedics (MS (Orth)), which followed his 1998 MBBS degree from Pune. That year, he topped the MS (Orth) examination.
- Subsequently, he worked at numerous hospitals in Mumbai to get expertise and to discover that an Indian Knee is distinct from its western equivalents and has different requirements. He traveled for Austria in 2005 to pursue a fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery with Professors R. Graf and S. Hofmann. Here, he learnedt how to correctly align knee replacements without the need of computer navigation.
- This fellowship was accredited by the International Centre for Orthopaedic Education (ICOE).
- Upon his return, he joined the Wockhardt Hospital in Mulund as a Junior Consultant and was quickly promoted to Senior Consultant.
- In 2008, he was chosen for a fellowship in Adelaide, Australia, under Professor J. Krishnan and Dr. M. Penta, to study the fourth generation of computer-assisted total knee replacements.
- In the years following his MS diagnosis, he obtained extensive training in all facets of Joint Replacement, including Revision (Re-do) Joint Replacement Surgeries, which are the most difficult surgeries of the modern era.
- Trained in conventional and guided Knee replacements, which represent the most recent developments in Knee Replacements, he is able to provide the best option.
- In addition to being involved in academics, he follows the most recent trends and developments in his profession so that he can provide his patients with the most recent and most effective treatment.
