- Dr Hitesh Sharma received his M.S. in Ophthalmology from the esteemed Institute of Medical Sciences (I.M.S. ), Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, after completing his M.B.B.S. at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (M.U.H.S.).
- Then, he completed a fellowship in Medical Retina and Uvea under Uvea specialists such as Prof. JyotirmayBiswas at the renowned eye institute SankaraNethralaya in Chennai, where he was trained by world-known eye specialists.
- Dr Hitesh Sharma is a Fellow of both the International Council of Ophthalmology and the All India Collegium of Ophthalmology in the specialty of Uvea.
- He is a member of the All India Ophthalmologic Society (A.I.O.S. ), the Bombay Ophthalmologists’ Association (B.O.A. ), the Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society (M.O.S. ), and the Uveitis Society of India (U.S.I.).
- Dr Hitesh Sharma has published numerous chapters for national and international Ophthalmology textbooks and has authored a number of notable papers. He has delivered papers and posters at multiple conferences.
