Biodata
- Dr Hong Qiantai earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Following graduation, he began his residency training in general surgery as a member of the inaugural class of the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Residency Program. He also served as President of the NHG Residents’ Council from 2016 to 2017.
- Dr Hong graduated from his alma mater with a Master of Medicine (Surgery). Since 2018, he has been licensed as a specialist by the Ministry of Health in Singapore, having passed the Joint Specialty Fellowship Examinations in General Surgery and been admitted to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as a Fellow.
- Dr Hong loves both the complex essence of clinical practice and teamwork. Vascular and Endovascular Surgery are his subspecialty interests. He is an enthusiastic lecturer, having served as clinical faculty and examiner at both the NUS and Lee Kong Chian Schools of Medicine. He is also the Associate Program Director for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s General Surgery Residency Program.
