In Westwood, Dr Joshua is the head of the UCLA Insomnia Clinic at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and a board-certified psychiatrist. His clinical interests include insomnia and depression therapy.

Dr Joshua is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine’s David Geffen School of Medicine. He is now engaged in epidemiological and translational research on the role of inflammation in the treatment of insomnia and depression. Throughout his career, his study has centered on a broader understanding of the role of inflammation in depression, weariness, and sleep disruption, or “illness behavior.”

Dr Joshua is linked with a number of regional institutions, including UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. He has been practicing law for almost 20 years.
