Biodata

Dr Kailash Kothari has worked in the field of pain management for the past eight years. During this time, he has mastered both conventional and advanced interventional pain treatment techniques.
Dr Kailash Kothari has visited numerous pain centers and institutes in the United States and Europe in order to update his knowledge and introduce the most advanced pain management techniques to India’s pain clinic. His specialty is the management of spine pain (neck & Back Pain) with innovative nonsurgical techniques. He has treated hundreds of patients from India and other countries.
In India, Dr Kailash Kothari is a pioneer in the introduction of numerous innovative pain management techniques. His groundbreaking work in pain treatment has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. In India and overseas, he was invited to offer lectures and organize seminars. He has more than fifty national and international presentations to his credit. He teaches these procedures to numerous Indian and international physicians. His recent paper was published and presented at the world congress on pain practice conducted by the world institute of pain in New York (WIP). This study investigated the newest technology, pulsed radiofrequency (PRF), in individuals with lumbar (back) herniated discs.
Spine specialist Dr Kailash Kothari conceptualized the Pain Clinic of India (PCI). The plan is to collaborate with India’s most gifted and experienced pain experts in order to provide patients with the most effective pain relief treatment available on a worldwide scale. The purpose is also to educate the general public and physicians about pain treatment.
Dr Kailash Kothari is active in pain management research and studies. He is the principal editor of Indian Journal of Pain. He is an International Association for the Study of Pain member (IASP). He is a former member of the executive committee of the Indian Society for Study of Pain, the Indian branch of the International Association for the Study of Pain (ISSP). He is a pioneer in establishing the Comprehensive Interventional Pain Management (CIPM) course at Mumbai/Goa, one of the most famous international pain training programs (annually). This program trains between 70 and 100 anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, and neurologists in India and abroad in the most modern pain treatment procedures. In Mumbai, he has organized numerous national and international seminars on anesthesia, pain management, and critical care. He is a member of numerous national and international societies for pain, anesthesia, and critical care.
He is a visiting pain consultant at the Bhaba Atomic Research Center (BARC) Hospital in Mumbai and the Jagjivanram Western Railway Hospital.
