- Dr Kailash is an expert in spine and pain management and the department leader for pain management. He has been employed in this sector for the previous 23 years. During this time, he has mastered both conventional and advanced interventional pain treatment techniques.
- He has visited numerous pain centers and institutes in the United States and Europe in order to update his knowledge and introduce the most advanced pain management techniques to India’s pain clinic. His specialty is the non-surgical management of spine pain (neck & back pain) using cutting-edge techniques. He has treated hundreds of patients from India and other countries.
- In India, he is a pioneer in the introduction of numerous innovative pain management techniques. His groundbreaking work in pain treatment has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. In India and overseas, he was invited to offer lectures and organize seminars. He has delivered more than 300 national and international presentations.
- He instructed about 500 doctors from all across India and overseas. His recent paper was published and presented at the world conference on pain practice in New York, which was organized by the world pain institute (WIP).
- Director of Pain Clinic of India Private Limited. Dr Kailash Kothari, a spine and pain specialist, conceptualized The Pain Clinic Of India (PCI). The plan is to collaborate with some of India’s most gifted and experienced pain experts in order to provide patients with the highest possible international standard pain therapy.
- He is active in pain management research and studies. He is the president of the ISSP and the former editor-in-chief of the Indian journal of Pain. He belongs to the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).
- He is the Course Director for Comprehensive Interventional Pain Management, one of the most recognized international PAIN training programs (CIPM). This annually trains between 70 and 100 anesthesiologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and neurologists in India and abroad in the most modern pain treatment procedures. In Mumbai, he has organized numerous national and international seminars on anesthesia, pain management, and critical care. He is a member of numerous national and international societies for pain, anesthesia, and critical care.
