- Dr Koh Poh Kim Elisa is an obstetrician and gynaecologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. Apart from delivering infants, Dr Koh has particular interests in the prevention and treatment of gynaecological cancers.
- Dr Koh Poh Kim Elisah graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001. She received her postgraduate qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecology from the United Kingdom in 2006.
- Apart from obstetrics and gynaecology, she worked in various departments such as paediatric surgery, anaesthesia, general surgery and internal medicine.
- Dr Koh Poh Kim Elisa’s interest in the prevention and management of gynaecological cancers started in the early days of her training in Singapore General Hospital, and further grew when she served in the Department of Gynaecological Oncology in Kandang Kerbau (KK) Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
- Dr Koh Poh Kim Elisa gained more exposure in minimally invasive cancer surgery from Professor Nam Joo Hyun, a renowned gynaecology oncologic surgeon at the ASAN Medical Centre in Seoul, South Korea. Her interest in cancer prevention and major cancer surgery has described her position as a healer, trainer and advocate of women’s health.
